Toby Preciado Sr.
With a diverse background and a deep passion for both ministry and music, Toby brings a wealth of experience to his role as Senior Pastor and Worship Leader. His journey began in the construction industry as a journeyman Ironworker with Local 433 in Los Angeles. However, his heart was always drawn to ministry, where he has been involved with his church since 1978, first as a dedicated worship leader.
In 2001,Toby joined the church staff as Worship and Arts Director, a role in which he combined his musical talents with a heart for service. His journey in leadership continued to evolve, and in 2010, he was ordained and became the Senior Pastor of the church. Throughout his ministry, Toby has been mentored and trained by respected leaders, including Dr. Steve Robbins, Dr. Rick Love, Dr. Leah Coulter, and Pastor Bill Coulter. These relationships have deeply shaped his approach to teaching, leadership, and pastoral care.
A passionate teacher of Scripture, Toby loves helping others deepen their understanding of the Word and apply it to their daily lives. In addition to preaching, he enjoys playing music and directing various aspects of the church’s worship and arts programs. His vision for worship is one that encourages creativity, connection, and a deeper intimacy with God.
