Welcome
We seek to be a community that invites all people to believe that God loves them
About Us
At C.I.V., our hope is simple: to help people come to believe in God's goodness, deepening their faith and growing in love.

SERVE OTHERS
One of the highlights of our ministry is our food pantry, which serves the communities of Oxnard and Port Hueneme every Wednesday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Each week, we distribute generous bags of groceries—featuring canned goods, frozen meats, and fresh produce—to over 200 families. Additionally, once a month, we provide a warm meal and groceries to the homeless in our community.
HELP OTHERS
This ministry relies heavily on volunteers, and the need in our community is great, so we truly need your help. We hold the pantry every Wednesday, and it takes most of the day to set up and distribute the food. We welcome volunteers from all walks of life, not just our church members. If you're looking to complete community service hours, this is a great opportunity to do so while making a meaningful impact.
OUR BELIEFS
We believe in the death, burial, resurrection, ascension, and second coming of Jesus. We affirm that God is fundamentally good and loving, and that He is not angry with us.
Join Us for Worship
Join us Sundays at 11 am as we share God's story of love and mercy with you.
OUR MISSION
At C.I.V., we don’t have a separate missions department because we believe that we are all called to mission. Our purpose on this journey is to be the face, hands, and feet of God, sharing the good news wherever we go. Our primary directive is simple: to "love our neighbor."
OUR GOAL
Our goal is to share the good news of Jesus Christ with both our community and the world. We aim to achieve this by embracing a fresh approach to interpreting and contextualizing the Bible, creating pathways that lead others to experience God's love.
